A new EuropeAN tanning and beauty salon will open its doors in Toronto in the coming weeks.
The salon will be located in the basement of a building at 1425 Dundas St., which is a former hotel.
The owner of the business, Sarah Soh, says the salon is intended to bring together people from around the world.
“We’re not a salon that’s about the skin.
We’re really about making people feel good about their skin.
The idea is to provide a space where people can feel comfortable, who they want to come to and what they want,” Soh said.
The business has been in the works for years and was recently approved for a $4.6-million grant by the City of Toronto to expand its reach.
The plan for the new salon comes after months of discussions with several businesses in the city about how to expand their reach.
Soh says she believes the business will appeal to people in different regions and ethnicities.
“It’s very important that people have a place that is comfortable for them to come, that is welcoming for them, that’s inviting them to be part of the community,” she said.
She said the new location is in an area that has a high concentration of Asian people.
“I think it’s very exciting for people to come and have a space that’s not necessarily for them.
They can be a part of that community and feel that it’s welcoming and they’re not isolated.”
She says the location will also be open to the public, as long as they’re comfortable.
The new location will not have the same amenities as other tanning salons, such as spa treatments and spa equipment.
The lease will last for two years, and the new business will operate from the same premises.
Sok said the salon will not be a replacement for existing European tanning businesses.
“There are so many other things happening in Europe, so I don’t think it would be appropriate to come here and replace the business with a European business,” she explained.
The owners say they are aiming to be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The building will be a mix of retail space and an art gallery, as well as a lounge with a full bar.
Soho and the surrounding area is home to a number of large businesses, such a hair salon and a spa.
The location will be more accommodating to the community, as it will be on a block that is used as a shopping and office district.
It’s unclear whether the location is part of a larger plan for a larger retail district in the area.
“This is not a boutique or a mall, this is a neighbourhood that has really become a hub for businesses and for young professionals and also for ethnic communities,” Sohn said.
Sohn says the new space will also allow her to take advantage of the many amenities available in the neighbourhood, including an outdoor patio and a small outdoor patio.
“People are looking for a space for a business that’s comfortable, that has good lighting, that they can work on their hair and make sure that they’re happy.
They want to be in a space like that, they want a space with a place to relax, to have a good time, and to come back,” she added.
The city will also fund the building’s construction, which will cost between $10 million and $12 million.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
