Tanning salon opened its doors in downtown L.A. in a stunning show of support for the LGBTQ community.

The salon is located on West Broadway and will be open daily, said Kim Fass, the executive director of The L.O.U.C.L.A., a lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex community organization.

The LOSA was formed to support the LGBTQI community and to show solidarity with the LGBT community.

“I know we’ve been there, we know what it’s like, and we know that you need to be there to support each other,” Fass said.

The opening comes after the L.L., a gay-themed salon and bar in New York, opened its first location in Los Angeles in April.

The new location at 1510 West Broadway was a fitting choice, Fass added.

“We have the most LGBT-inclusive space, the most inclusive lounge,” Faccas said.

“And I think that’s going to be really important in the future, that people are going to have this space and be able to come in and feel comfortable and have a place to come out and connect.”
